Lecturer, Landscape Architecture

Mackenzie  is a Lecturer at the University of Washington in the College of Built Environments who teaches and develops curriculum in the Departments of Landscape Architecture and Urban Design and Planning at both undergraduate and graduate levels. She is also adjunct faculty in the School of Social Work, where she works in collaboration with faculty on interdisciplinary courses and academic research publications with a central focus on equity, social justice, and inclusion practices. Mackenzie  brings over 10 years of experience in public built environments practice as a consultant for diverse and under-represented groups. A graduate of the UW M.Arch and M.LA programs, Mackenzie is a licensed landscape architect working at the intersection of public art and urban design.
